This week's tech spotlight:
A new horizontal full-screen mode has been tested by TikTok. The full-screen button is now appearing on square and rectangular videos. In a similar manner to YouTube, the button enlarges the video horizontally.
For iOS, WhatsApp is developing a picture-in-picture mode that allows users to open other apps while they're on a video call. This feature is currently in beta testing and is expected to become widely available next year.
Oakland-based robotics company, Cartken, will provide the robots. Businesses will offer products to robots in the Dadeland district of Miami-Dade County, with plans to expand into larger areas of the city by 2023.
New methods are being added to Instagram for recovering hacked accounts. Instagram announced Instagram.com/hacked to help users report and resolve account access issues.
