iPhones will soon support live video on 911 calls

911 Call

Apple is expanding its Emergency SOS feature with a new live video component, designed to provide even greater assistance in emergency situations.

First responders are now able to integrate with Apple's Emergency SOS Live Video feature, introduced in iOS 18. This allows users to have a live video call with 911 dispatchers, providing crucial visual information in emergency situations. Previously, Emergency SOS offered voice calls, text messages, and location sharing.
