Comment on your favorite podcasts with Spotify's new feature

Spotify is giving podcast creators and listeners a new way to connect. On July 9th, the platform announced the launch of podcast comments, offering a chance for deeper audience interaction.

This feature joins existing options like polls and Q&As, further enriching the communication between creators and their fans.  Listeners can leave comments, but similar to Q&A responses, they'll be private by default. This allows creators to review and approve each comment before it appears publicly.

Podcast creators have flexibility with comments. They can choose to enable them for entire shows, specific episodes, or opt out entirely. This level of control ensures they can tailor the comment section to their preferences.

Starting this week, creators can manage comments via the Spotify for Podcasters web app and a revamped mobile app that's rolling out in phases.  Listeners in most Spotify markets will also see the comment feature become available progressively over the next few days.
